We treat these sessions seriously.

It is an opportunity for customers to get to know us and what they will get from our lessons, and an opportunity for us to know each prospective student’s needs and learning objectives, and to start planning ahead.

​

During a taster lesson, we would enquire about the learning motives, history, and long-term expectations. For participants who have learned before, they are encouraged to bring along their instrument and play a song to show to the tutor their skill level. Based on their knowledge, ability, and targets, our tutor would go on to introduce what will be taught in future lessons.

Parents and guardians are welcome to sit in on the lesson.

Should the participant wish to continue learning with us, but is unsure of purchasing an instrument just yet, we have instruments for hire.  Please speak to our staff after the session for details.
